This was a library score that we had to add to our home collection. A great story for any child/adult that loves animals, the story unfolds as a cute beagle pup, Max gets a special new pet door that transports him to a very cool city just for pets.
A few funny things to note ~ on the very first illustration somehow no one noticed that ‘Dad’s’ hand has six fingers and Molly’s hand has a digit that is difficult to distinguish as a thumb or pinkie. Still, the illustrations are lovely and there are even a few laugh out loud parts of the book for my daughter.
